The Dichotomy of Hope

The Dichotomy of Hope

The dichotomy of hope is more than just black and white, despair and aspiration. It's a spectrum of love, faith, pursuits of dreams, pleading for mercies and desires to serve.

" And thou shalt be bold, because there is hope: and thou shalt dig pits, and shalt lie down safely.  For when thou takest thy rest, none shall make thee afraid: yea, many shall make suit unto thee." - Job 11: 18-19 (GNV)

Bravery Despite Fear and Failing

Bravery Despite Fear and Failing

We all have fear and we all fail. But that doesn't have to be the ending to our story!

"But now, O Jacob, listen to the Lord who created you. O Israel, the one who formed you says,do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.” – Isaiah 43: 1

The First Step

The First Step

The first step in healing and fulfilling the true callings on our lives begins with the bravery to take that first step!

"I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all He has done for you. Let them be a living and Holy sacrifice-the kind He will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship Him. Don't copy the behaviors and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's Will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect" - Romans 12: 1

More Than Echoes

More Than Echoes

Those we've loved and lost in our lives our more than echoes. They are part of us. And just like their voice echoes in our hearts and thoughts, so will our actions give honor to their memory!

“Either way, Christ’s love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for all, we also believe that we have died to our old life. He died for everyone so that those who receive His new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them” – 2 Corinthians 5: 14

Be Magnificent

Be Magnificent

God calls us all to be magnificent. And one of the best ways for us to do that is through the love that He provides unceasingly!

"You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless. You are the light of the world-like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your Heavenly Father." - Matthew 5: 13-16
